Prof. Dr. Matthias Wölfel from Hochschule Karlsruhe opened the event at IHK Karlsruhe, organised by VDC Fellbach, with "Besonderheiten beim Einsatz immersiver virtueller Welten".
Simon Walk, co-founder of Solid White, followed with "Virtual Corporate Spaces: Kollaborative VR-Multiuser Lösungen für Marketing, Training und Knowledge Management". He spoke about what is meant by virtual spaces, what the games have done for this new media and what the impact will be for enterprises. Cases like "Virtual Design Center Interactive" or "Max Bögl Virtual Reality Experience" showed how it looks in practical.
At the end Marc Herling from Tacton showed with "Bleeding-Edge-Technologien als Erfolgsfaktoren für die Digitalisierung im B2BVertrieb" what 3d configuration can do for companies.
